Sometimes we get whatever will dull or take the pain away. The side effects
can be problematic and can even result in severe liver damage. I was taking
percocet but it only slightly helped the pain. I've found that Diclofenac, an
anti-inflammatory med works okay for me with no bad side effects.

@mikeb39a the diclofenec is a problem if you are taking it orally! It is known for major complications. Topically, it is not a problem for most people and I have used it regularly for years. Please consult with your doctor. Oral diclofenac is a powerful nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation. While highly effective, it carries significant risks, primarily concerning stomach, cardiovascular, and kidney health. For detailed, official prescribing information, consult the Drugs.com Prescribing Info.

I will ask my physician about Diclofenac.
