Hi parus, lioness here sorry to hear about how pain has crippled you. Do you like to read this can take your mind off for awhile ,how bout audio tapes or even watch cartoons I use to love Tom@Gerry. Do you have buses near by just ride them if you can hope you find something to help.
@parus I too am "vintage", lonlier in a crowd. I get your meaning too about helping oneself. Even a Doctor or other health professional is only as helpful as their ability to listen.
@parus, I have a book of poetry by Robert Burns. Ironically, a Scotsman gave it to me. Do you write poetry? I have, but most of mine do not rhyme. Sometimes I write letters to my younger self. Or find pages from journals where I was distressed about something. It's good to look back sometimes, to see the changes we've made. I hope you had a good day today! Love and light,
Mamacita
I write poems about my cats! @marylou705
@mamacita, @parius. I always kept diaries as a young girl! I've graduated I suppose to journals...stacks of them. Even the act of writing things down, for me is carthartic. It's helped me let go of many things. Even writing to someone who will never read it , for me anyway, is a way to let things go. To no longer hold onto things that hold you down is a gift you can give yourself to!
Hi @jude6x2

@parus I appreciate your sharing more about yourself! As you open yourself to others, you can find encouragement, support and help. Welcome! Teresa
