GBM after two years of treatment survival of 69 year old man?

While I can't speak to longevity, since my husband lasted 45 days from diagnosis of grade 4 Glioblastoma on left temporal. We were told without surgery 2 to 3 months, with surgery, radiation daily for 6 weeks and chemo, 10-12 months. We were also told it was not a matter of if it would return but when and then no option for additional surgery. I wish we had never had the surgery since he was never the same. Hard to say but so many unanswered questions my family continues to struggle with. Stay positive and prayers to you.

@kjsthljc1 my husband had a similar situation. He lasted 107 days after being diagnosed. He had surgery to remove what we thought were two benign tumors. When they got into this brain, they saw they were GBM tumors and didn’t removed any part of the tumors. They said it was pointless. We were told chemo and radiation might help some. He did a few treatments of radiation but then his blood levels made it to where they would no longer do them. I wish we had never done the radiation because he went downhill quickly after we started it.
