I just had my first Reclast infusion yesterday to help me keep the gains from a year of Evenity.

I took alendronate (another bisphosphonate) for over five years and it helped me improve my bone mineral density for about three of those years.

I’m not sure why doctors prescribe Reclast instead of an oral bisphosphonate but the goals are the same: to slow down bone loss and improve bone density.
