Vibration Pad - Pain Relief?
After so many different therapies over the years, I was contemplating what I know about my body and treatments for musculoskeletal issues. My friend has a vibration pad that her dad purchased for her to help with her osteopenia (after reading a related medical study). I ordered one for myself (from Comfier) and have been trying it twice a day for 10-15 minute sessions. During the sessions, I am lying flat on a bed. I am currently doing it when I get up in the morning and before bed. I have been trying to stick with this for 2-3 weeks now and can report that it is helping me with my spinal pain, hip pain, and muscle spasms. I sleep much better when I use it before bed at night. When I miss a session, I can tell the difference and don't move around as easily. Has anyone else tried this and have found success?

I would LOVE to try using a vibration plate but have been informed several times that peeps who have suffered a retinal tear at some point in their lives should not use them as they are suseptible to another tear through its use. (Yup, one of my retinas tore over 10 years ago and, sadly, still hasn't fully healed. Sheesh.)
I hope such a thing doesn't hinder your use of the plate.
@dogonabone I tried a vibration device briefly years ago but returned it as I was concerned that there was probably a tiny chance of something like that happening. Even though this was a vibration device that you would stand on, I felt the vibration all the way to the top of my head...
@tillymack Wow. Good move!
I opted for a pad I can lay on because of my fatigue, and it doesn't have a head piece (specifically didn't want vibration or massage there). Also yes, retinal tears are serious! Totally understand the caution.
I think this is the one that I bought (below). It has a pillow area, but the vibration stops about the height of my shoulder blades.

@tillymack jus wondering if you or anyone on this thread may have used such a device for balance issues casued by cervical and lumbar stenosis?
I was interested in a treatment or prevention for osteopenia. But fortunately Amazon has a great return policy as I had second thoughts once I tried it out.
is that what is known as a Tens machine?? if so I was told not to use it above the shoulder
