Trimix Question: any feedback appreciated
First time that I used trimix was successful at 10 units. Had intercourse. I just tried for second time. Filled syringe with 12 units. Thought to increase because it was in the fridge since 4/27. Did not work successfully. Decided to inject another 5 units for a total of 17 units. Still not erect enough for intercourse. Still very enjoyable intimacy with orgasm. Can it be that Trimix has lost potency. Once again script filled 4/27 and today is 6/13.

I called the company that was mixing my Trimix and explained what was going on. They had a pharmacist call me back, and he went through all the details with me, including how long the erections were lasting and the pain I was feeling.
The best way I could describe it was that my penis felt like it was being inflated and was about to pop. After talking everything through, he recommended switching to Bimix. He told me to start with 5 units and only increase by 2 units at a time until I found what worked. Luckily, 5 units was enough for me.
My advice would be to call the company that fills your Trimix prescription and ask to speak with someone, preferably a pharmacist. Explain what you are experiencing and ask whether Bimix might be a better option for you. Don't give up and good luck!
@tj1967 When I had such a reaction to Trimix, I contacted the urinary specialist who subsequently prescribed Bimix. I was so traumatized after Trimix that I decided not to try anything else. I'll ask my wife what she thinks; I take my last Orgovyx pill tonight. Thanks for sharing your experience in detail. If I start Bimix, I'll try 5 units.

From what I understand, Bimix does not contain alprostadil, which seemed to be what was causing the pain for me. Trimix was just too strong for my situation. Since switching, it has made all the difference. No more aching or burning.
Congrats on taking your last Orgovyx pill! I’m in the middle of an 18 month Orgovyx treatment myself, with 10 more months to go. Ughhh...
Thank you for all the helpful suggestions. By the way another pharmacist at same pharmacy said that I could refreeze
@tj1967 I've had all the Orgovyx side effects, and the best advice I can give to combat fatigue and muscle loss is to exercise your butt off. M-F, I add exercises from a physical therapist or a set from an exercise oncologist to 30 min. of cardio. And keep moving. All the best!
