I am going on month 2 of cdiff and second rounds of antibiotics to treat it . With my second antibiotic I had hope at first, as stools were a little more formed and less frequent (3-4 times a day rather than 10-15) but now back to where I was. Afraid to eat. Seem to tolerate scrambled eggs, sourdough, plain pasta. Drinking a lot of kefir and also daily visbiome. In a couple weeks my gastroenterologist said if not better will be sent to another site for spore therapy. As others have said, for me it is frustrating there’s little direction. I watch my grandson and feel weak and tired all the time. Going on vacation and hoping I can feel well enough to participate. Are you feeling relief yet?

@chrismkc hello, keep up with your probiotics . Probiotics are temperamental. They like a cool to cold environment. Please avoid anything warm or hot for at least two hours after eating, drinking, or taking pill form probiotics. Please take your probiotics in the moring and at bed time. According to a world renowned infectious disease doctor Vancomycim does not cure C-Diff. It slows it down and gives a false negative for C-Diff. And ask your doctor about VOWST. This is not an antibiotic. It has gone a long way to help people get rid of C-Diff.
There is an Antibiotic called DIFICID.
Two pills a day for 10 days. Very expensive but effective.
I pray you find this helpful.
