@swex This is me too although not persistent. Once i went up to 1.7 it started happening once every few weeks. My ablation was 4 years ago. My cardiologist also didn’t seem to be sure of the connection although dehydration used to be a trigger for me. I dropped back to 1mg this week but now also have to have another ablation which is gutting. There simply isn’t enough research on this to be sure.

@monty64 There is roughly a 50% chance that any one patient with a successful ablation lasting over four years will soon require another ablation due to recurrence of AF. The rate of recurrence 6 years out is about 30%. So, if you make it to the 5-6 year mark, the chances are you'll never require another ablation. For many of us, we don't make it past about 3-4 years, so......yer in good company. 😀 Still, I'm sorry this has been the case for you. I can't say it wasn't a GLP-1, but the odds of getting past 4 years anyway, regardless of other factors, is not very high for ablatees.
