I am interested in the inclusion of Metformin in his book,I take 3 a day for Diabetes 2 and have managed to reduce this from 5 per day.
My P.S.A,5 years post total prostatectomy is .26 and rise s each 6 monthly test about .02----.3.
Do you think Metformin has helped. ?

@bobbyjay54321 Hi Bob. I do not know, as I do not possess the qualifications to weigh in on that, but thank you for sharing your experience. The more of us who share our experiences, the greater our ability to learn... and to question everything.
In my research, I am finding that repurposed drugs may have a huge role to play in not only cancer, but many other conditions. We have to remember, there is really no financial incentive for mainstream medicine to invest time and resources investigating/promoting alternative uses of existing drugs. Many of them are no longer patented and, consequently, are much cheaper for us to obtain. Many of these repurposed drugs have a long history with well-known "side effects", which seem to be minimal and/or do not last long. Another thing I am learning is that there is a "synergistic" effect when certain repurposed medications are taken together. In the book "Fight Cancer Like A Man", for example, he discusses this synergistic effect.
It is important to work with someone who understands these medications, their mechanisms of action, and safety profiles.

@bobbyjay54321 It may have helped slow it down…or maybe not at all.
But you need SRT soon otherwise you risk losing the chance for metastasis free survival.
You may need ADT as well.
