RFA made my lower back pain worse. Anyone else?

@violet112 were those the test injections that they are required to do before the RFA? If you didn't get relief from those, I don't see how you're going to get relief from the RFA. Insurance usually won't pay unless you get a lot of relief from the test injections.

@erdocsmom I needed to get test shots before the actual procedure to see if the RFA will work in order for the insurance to cover the procedure in which it helped. After that, I had six shots on the left side and six on the right of my spine.

@erdocsmom I never heard the term test shots used before. They were basically cortisone shots and they did provide some relief just not enough.
