Followup to initial post. I finally got to meet the doctor I hoped would help me with my lymphedema treatment, if only to oversee it and make sure the PT was doing their job. Unfortunately, he told me he doesn't deal with lymphedema and didn't think my veins were the problem. It was very disappointing because his bio said a part of his practice ws working with lymphedema. Seems to be really hard finding a doctor or even a good PT who are knowledgeable and willing to help patients with lymphedema. I'll just have to keep trying to find someone. If anyone knows about qualified, honest PTs in the Overland Park, KS area, I'd love to hear from you. Thank and bless all of you.
