Trainee..did you ever get this resolved? I am 68 and 25 years post menopausal. I started bleeding..my docs were wonderful.. Ultra sound and MRI, Hysteroscopy and D& C. All tests came back negative for cancer. No polyps found . Endometrial strip was thickened. I had little or no bleeding post procedure.

6 weeks later, I am experiencing menstruation cramps and spotting....

I am 5ft 2 and 150lbs.. I go to the gym for strength and Balance classes. I don't feel obese..but I could certainly lose a few pounds.

I would love to know if you resolved your situation.

Stephanie

@sjboulton Hello! Funny you should ask…I was fine for literally a year, and just this last week, am starting to have some spotting again. But I am glad that yours turned out well also! I would check back with the doctor since you’re having bleeding again. If I recall, mine was on and off a few times after the hysteroscopy and D&C before it finally stopped. Mu doctor said give it a full month, I don’t recall if it was a bit more than that. But it’s always best to check in and see what they think.

For my ongoing saga, for all these months I had nothing, but literally anytime I went to
pee, I would hold my breath thinking I would see something on my undies or when I wipe. But last week sometime, I started to see the faintest hint of brown. I thought nah, and then there was nothing. But it was the same as the other times, very fair at first only wiping. Tan color, then sometimes slightly pink. Then other times, nothing. Each day seems slightly more. I’m very frustrated, and trying not to worry. I called today for an appointment, but my doctor is not available anytime soon. The earlier they have is July 16th with a nurse practitioner. Otherwise I’d have to go to a different office. I guess I will see how I feel over the weekend and Monday try to get to see anyone else sooner. If nothing else, it will be better to feel like the ball is rolling rather than waiting 3 weeks.

Also, now that I think back, last week I had a day where I felt totally emotional and angry, like how I used to feel with PMS. I used to know when I was getting it because everything would annoy me, lol. So I said to my friend last week, if I didn’t know better, I’d think I was getting my period. Meanwhile, here I am a week later and it’s somewhat happening. So I think whatever all of this is, the hormones are definitely involved.
