@igm I tried! Did you know that there is a website where you can look up thousands of acronyms yo see what they mean?

Well, I tried and WHCC doesn't seem to mean anything with respect to lungs. You could call the VA and ask for an explanation of the acronym - it seems to be specific to them - I call it "governmentese" and I worked for them for many years.

Or, now that you have met a "brick wall" at the VA, you can reach out to your state or county veterans' assistance. Here is where to find them:

Please contact them - they can tell you exactly what your rights are, and how to "nudge" the system.

Hello,
Thank you for trying! It was so nice of you. I now understand it means the physician labeled his nodule as routine care, low risk and it does not go into the record. So that explains why patient advocate could not get involved. It effectively keeps it out of the medical team's hands and blocks our way to other paths. I can't guess the doctor's reasoning for sure and in this case, I am cynical but can very well be mistaken.
Thank you very much for the website address and I will certainly go there and check if my husband has any rights. Thank you!
