@laura1961 I don't take calcium any longer since there's a possible link to calcification of the arteries so I try to get what I need from whole foods. I calculate my nutrition on cronometer.com to make sure I'm getting my calcium needs met along with all the other essential nutrients.

@teb After learning that most minerals in supplements crystalize in the small intestines unless there is a delivery system taking them beyond, I strongly believe the calcium warnings are because there is so much unused calcium left hanging around in the body.

I learned 50 years ago that we were absorbing less than 10% of store shelf/Amazon supplements...and honestly - nothing has debunked that. Lots of confirmation keeps coming...

I have used a calcium supplement for 34 years that has a patented delivery formula preventing that crystallization and upping absorption as much as 10 times others.

Even with heart history in my family...I am doing well! (grateful!!)
