I'll be a 78 yo male when I start chemotherapy for MM next week. Unsure of what to expect. Back in 2013 I was diagnosed with colon cancer and had several inches of my colon removed and then underwent chemo. I had no issues withn the chemo. My oncologist at the time also disclosed that I had MGUS and provided me with a lot of information and several pages of handwritten notes and diagrams. In 2023 I was diagnosed with prostate canc er for which I had cyrotherapy performed at Duke. All went well. Last month I was told I now had MM. Additionally, I suffered a Sudden Cardiac Arrest in April 2025. I was very lucky in that I was found on the ground beside my truck by a passerby and an off duty lifeguard started CPR. I have recovered but memory and stability issues. Has anyone had any similar issues and if so, how are you doing now.

@russobx, I'm tagging @gingerw who also is in chemo treatment for multiple myeloma. I'm sorry to hear that MM is your third rodeo with cancer.

What chemo regimen are you getting? How is it going?
