@midnightwalker, thank you for reaching out. I appreciate your interest. She has been on donepezil since early February. Her only wheel symptoms were bad, short-term memory, and that has gotten no worse, maybe a little better, but hard to tell. She had her first Kaisla infusion on May 13, which is only about 1/4 of the full dose. She had no problems with the infusion and no ARIA (brain swelling, or brain bleeding) as yet as shown by the MRI she did two weeks later. She gets her next infusion, which brings it up to about a half dose, next week. So all things considered she is doing fine. We are a pretty active and fun loving couple and this has definitely put an underlying damper to our lives. I am pretty depressed about it all, but don’t really want to talk to her about it as I don’t want to make her depressed as she seems to be dealing with the reality of things pretty well. Or maybe that is one blessing of the disease. I hope things go well for you and your husband.
