There are discussions on this topic in a different conversation. There is a NIH study being don'e on this subject. I've read it.no evidence that can be used yet. But I did buy a hydrogen bottle to try it out. Can't say if it help or not. Quit using it because I ran out of time to clean it properly. Look in past articles to find link it is very interesting.
@5tillypurl https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/hydrogen-water-or-tablets-any-benefits-for-kidney/ is a discussion you can take a look at. While it appears there is no FDA endorsement, should we consider it a "fad", something new to try/spend our money on?

Meanwhile, companies make tens of millions from "maybe" products. In some ways, we haven't gotten far from the Middle Ages. Look at all the products over the years that were claimed to be helpful for this or that, when after years of study it turned out to be the opposite in terms of side effects. Cancer sometimes being one of those side effects.
tough call.
I’m guessing companies make billions of dollars on nail coloring and trimming and tens of billions of dollars on hair coloring and trimming and styling.
Neither of these techniques will cure CKD! Hydrogen water may be in this category, but it may provide some benefit, we don’t really know.
If a patient chooses to use hydrogen water and doesn’t use it as an excuse, not to diet or control or blood pressure, it is probably harmless.
If they honestly believe it will help them, the Hawthorne effect, maybe after cause some slight improvement.
It is appropriate to regulate materials that may be harmful, but I don’t think hydrogen water fits in this category.,

This sounds familiar. I think it has been the topic of another discussion thread. If you know how to search perhaps use “hydrogen water” as the key word and see what turns up.
Depending on what your kidney condition is, the damage and what you mean by “restore” this would be a good question for your provider &/or a renal dietician. Do you have access to those?
