Evenity and stomach issues

My appetite is always a bit off after an injection. I've had 9 to date - yesterday was my last and I find I am not very hungry today. I've found that staying well hydrated helps. Every time gets a bit easier - I definitely felt very off after my first injection. Hopefully you will feel better shortly.

Thank you so much for your reply it does help to know it will get easier. I am really working on staying hydrated at 55 you would think I would have that down but I don't haha.

I have had two injections and no side effects. I hope it gets better for you!

I've had 7 injections. After my first 3 I had acid indigestion & a headache starting on day 5. This off happened frequently for 10 days. In the subsequent months it's happened a few times. It usually lasts for 24 hrs and I've tried to figure out what I might be eating etc. to trigger it. I have not previously had this issue. This month I've had numerous days with acid indigestion with a headache since day 8. Is anyone else having this issue and, if so, any suggestions for getting it to stop. I'm getting very tired of it.
I think there have been other conversations where Evenity and acid indigestion are mentioned in Mayo connect but it is really difficult to go back to find them without much scrolling. Does this site have some search engine that I haven't found?

I am 65 y/o, have had three (sets) of infusions(injections) as of this date(6/8/26). I don’t take any other meds and haven’t changed diet, exercise, or lifestyle. I am bloated, constipated, intestinal issues, pressure in my lower intestines almost as if my intestines could be pressing on my pelvic bone, and no appetite.It has to be the Evenity bc nothing has changed. I have not had a proper bowel movement in months(started this drug in March) have taken laxatives, and enemas and barely any relief. My clothing is uncomfortable and my tummy looks as if I am pregnant.. going to dr next week to discuss further, weigh options, and the pros/ cons. 🙁

@botanist I can’t take this one because I have IBS and it does cause a side effect of stomach problems. I’m on Forteo. I have had muscle pains and stuff, but they seem OK now it started off with headaches and stuff. The only thing I could say about that one is if you start it or if you stop and start again sometimes you get like a flu like symptom for a day or two maybe a couple more days I don’t know the one time I had for like a day and a half the other time I had it for like three days four days, but then it goes away and the only other thing I have with that one is a light headache, but the muscle cramps, but the muscle pump seem to be settling. I have to be on this one because my DEXA scan was -4.3 and I have kidney issues and stuff so.
