Hello again. It's been 2 months to-date that I've posted on this chat about my husband heart and liver Transplant. He has been discharged on June 3rd and now is going to clinics appointments. The journey for me has been very busy just visiting him and getting my rest. Now that he is home, we are adjusting to our new normal. God has truly blessed us with these new gifts. It's been 6 days and he is getting stronger walking and his appetite is picking up. He has PT and OT appointments too. He is getting around with a 4 wheel walker. Everyday I ask him "How do you feel ." He's taking all meds on time eating , resting , exercising, and walking for 2 minutes intervals daily. He is also loving thus Arizona weather.

@pjw51, I always appreciate when members return with an update. It sounds like things continue to improve and bit by bit you're both adjusting and discovering the new normal.

How long will you stay in Arizona? What tips would you offer to others preparing for this journey - in other words - is there anything you wish you had known?
