@mel001 Agree! I will add that increasing my exercise and upping the intensity and frequency of walks, strength training (done at home gym with exercises a PT gave me) this past year, I had a 10% gain in my spine!!! It's at -2.5 from -2.9 previously. So just inside osteoporosis.

I'm going to give Tymlos a try since you can start small on the dose to see if I can tolerate it. And keep up the exercising because together should be more effective. Good luck to you! I am 67 and active hiker and have young grandkids I like to chase after!

@leslie2121 Ahhhh, well that surely gives me some hope then, as my T score is also at -2.9 for the spine and -1.6 for the neck region, so your comment surely raised some positivity for me - thank you! I walk allot at my job - laid off from prof work 2 yrs ago and working as a server, so i walk literally 5-9 miles a day just at my job 5 days a week, so that is covered i think (Lol), but i did fall off the exercise cart after COVID, so I also have a home gym and am looking specifically for something along the lines of the ONERO/StrongFit programs (based on the Australian study), or something similar that is being taught so i understand the proper techniques, and looking at a 5 pound adjustable (starting with 1 lb) weighted vest to wear for short periods daily, and well, the list goes on and on......i had thought i was taking the proper amt of calcium, but long story short i wasn't tho i do drink/eat allot of dairy naturally every day, but now also taking mk-7/vit k, and vit d, etc. also,.....so yes, the list is exhaustive, but since you (and others) have received decent results, I am going to do all that I can to get a similar result myself - thank you all for such wonderful guidance....it matters so much! 😉

@leslie2121 Oh and I will be 60 in August, and to my knowledge, this isn't genetic, so that is puzzling, but I have taken a anti=depressant for nearly 40 years, so i fear I have done to myself, as apparently that can/is a "side effect" which angers me, as I truly had no idea, but throughout the past 40 or so years, I have always been relatively active and for a long time, a self-professed gym rat, but as I said before, I feel off the wagon - lol, but still not too bad, but the daily walking is allot, so strength/high resistance training i feel is what I need to do - there are so many "bone supplements" available on line as well - geez.....just allot to take in, but I will get there - you have given me some much needed hope, and I thank you all of the way from NC here in the states! =)
