I know people that have done it, But it is because they were in the clinical trial first so their insurance didn’t pay and the second time it was paid for by insurance.

In the United States at this time, they do not usually pay for a second round of Pluvicto. It is not a recommended treatment yet. There are some clinical trials looking into it at this time.

In Australia, they do it for anybody that needs it.

I have had 4 treatments with Pluvicto. The last 3 were paid for by insurance. The first was just as it was approved by FDA but not available in US. I went to London for it. My response has been excellent. PSA steady at 0.04! I had one tumor that was taken care of with radiation at Sloan-Kettering. Side-effects have been minimal for me. I know that about 1/3 of men do not respond and some have side-effects that stop treatment. I was very lucky.

Are you saying that you took all six infusions and now are going to start another six or are you talking about the second round of the first six?

I have had the full 6 treatments in the first round, then another 4 (of 6) in a 2nd round. Thus, 10 treatments total so far. 2 treatments remain. It's highly unusual to have more that 1 round of 6, but my case was and is extremely unique.
