I'm trying a higher dose vitamin K also, because I've been unable to tolerate any other osteoporosis drug and have severe disease. At this point it's my only hope. If the drs won't acknowledge it as being studied and a real treatment, then I will try my own way. All they know is pharma. I think they make their money steering patients to certain drugs.

@tkdesign I am trying it also. But I don't have hopes that it will improve my DEXA scores, I just hope they would at least not decline any further. Exercise is important too. I love the free video's on Facebook under Brick House Bones by Dr Lisa Moore, a P.T. who specializes in osteoporosis.

I don't know that doctors make money steering patients to drugs, I think they are only following drug protocols established by medical organizations and regulatory agencies.
