I'm 58. I am a diabetic since 2017 (A1C 8.7 - 10.7)and major peripheral neuropathy which initially started with my feet (tingling, numb, painful nerve discomfort, nerve strikes, etc..). Until this day(2026) with Diabetes and Peripheral Neuropathy, major anxiety, etc..they eventually spread throughout my body from feet, calves, thighs, waist and hands(fingers) which also included all the awful symptoms.....regardless if you follow doctors orders, meds, insulin, meals, etc.. NO CURE!

After all the doctors, neurologist, specialist, emergency rooms, hospitals, prescribed medications such as (Pregabapentin/gabapentin, Juniva, Metformin, Duloxetine, Cymbalta, insulin, etc.. and also purchased massagers, creams, medical devices, and stuff on Amazon to help with neuropathy at no avail....

As of today, I totally regret to spend thousands and thousands of dollars (Out of Pocket and/or Insurance) for diabetes, neuropathy, anxiety, insomnia, etc. while doctors mislead your cures for financial gain.

Sadly, serious mental and health pain complications and conditions were experienced as "NO CURE" after all ! The final solution mentioned by mental professional was to consider to amputate feet, and legs, and hands. I gave it some thought but ultimately refused all of it.

After 8 years with such conditions, you DO NOT want the neuropathy (PN-nerve damage) to grow, spread and affect your entire feet, calves, thighs, waist and hands as it is an extremely uneasy, frustrating state of mind, awful and deadly anxiety, stress, insomnia, weak muscles, bad nerves with daily activities, etc..

And many years of experience, I found NO devices, creams, massagers, meds, specialist, doctors, etc. for PN and diabetes which comes with many bad symthoms. I simply have molded and learned to ignore the awful symptoms as it has been a part of my life for many years. It is an extremely miserable way to live into the golden years...

As I feel discomfort and eventually accepted "NO CURES" regardless of managed diabetes or not, I purchased a 2 year dog (German Shepherd) to help encourage, smile, somewhat ignore nerve pain, medical problems and walk at least 4 times a week which helps some body movements, muscles, and little help with bad nerves regardless of the pain. He is amazing! I regret not buying/adoption dog many years ago...as i still want to live a bit longer as I age...

My advice is to eat healthy, daily walks, routine scheduled "exercise' plan and possibly adopt a dog for serious encouragement, motivation, smiles, and most definitely "Save your Money"…! The end is near .....

My prayers are with all of you …

Painful Body Nerves with No Cures!

@michhino im right with you...so much time and money spent on short term relief. I hate it all. I am resolved to your encouragement..keep active, walk, eat well, and rest.Regarding the dog your right. Our dog passed in January and we feel the effect of loss. We're too old for another one but she did help relieve the pain with her snuggles.
