I had upper left lobe removed 7 months ago and 13 lymph nodes.
The pain is very rough and I am on pain meds. This makes it bearable most days. But I am having to jump through hoops to get them. Pain Dr is doing back injections that are used for back pain and is talking about stimulator to be installed in my back. I'm 70 years old and I feel like I'm being blackmailed into these procedures. My life has totally changed from this surgery and I wish I hadn't done it

@esk123, This sounds rough. It has to be exhausting to still be in so much pain, when you just want to feel better. I'm assuming that you've had a scan of your spine, to make sure that there isn't anything else causing this. Is there another pain management office in your area that may be able to provide a second opinion on the procedures, or the medications?

@pb50 mentions how prednisone has helped her to at least get some breaks from the pain and that the pain has improved over the past three years.
