@jacque45 Now I understand you’re in the UK. Have you considered looking into buprenorphine as an alternative to methadone? It comes in different formulations and I use the patches that provide 24/7 pain relief. There is a formulation Suboxone for people who have addiction issues as well. Here is a primer for you.

I live in Australia. Thanks for the website info.
My pain specialist is not concerned about the low amount of Physeptone I take, its more the Lyrica he thinks long term is not great. I would rather a alternated to that, but have tried many, many other types. For nerve pain usually you try either a drug for treating Epilepsy, or a anti-depressant. Lyrica falls into a neurological type . Anti-depressants have too many side effects for me. I also do have a Spinal cord stimulator implant that helps keep sharp un-expected jolts of pain at bay (not too much else). But I manage ok. Keep fit, keep weight down are the biggest helpers you can do for yourself.
