@ferrer2024 actually it's the opposite. My Dr asdigned me to a CNP who gave me my F4 cirrhosis diagnosis on Nov 3 and then told me to make my 6 month appt which turned into 7 months. Nothing out of her from Nov until this past week - May 29. She did have a nurse contact me about getting started on Rezdiffra and a dietician contacted me with an appt in late Jan. I had nothing from Nov 3 until late Jan. I am a troubleshooter and there was no way I could do nothing for 3 months as the news I got made me believe I had maybe 1-2 years to live. I read everything I could and joined this group and other groups to see what others journeys look like. I took it upon myself to actively do make changes and do something. All the things I did were my decisions from what others said worked for them and from reading. I made mistakes but just course corrected and I had all intentions of changing my doctor or CNP but she did that for me. her schedule is so full that she made my next appt with another CNP in the liver clinic. My appt is in 3 months and I'll see how this CNP is but I may still change. My doctor situation is not ideal. Not sure I appreciate being handed off to a CNP in the liver clinic with this diagnosis.
