Strongly recommend anyone contemplating PRP do your research. Guided injection have a 75% greater chance the standard “poke & hope” method. There is a Dr on YouTube that really explains the do’s and don’ts of PRP.

@csrb7007 the original post is from 2023, but the advice to have a guided injection is invaluable. Mine does it with ultrasound so she can she where the needle is going.

Apparently it does not work for everyone - I have been fortunate with the injections for my two foot conditions - Osteochrondral defect and sinus tarsi syndrome. It is unfortunate insurance will not pay for it since it’s been around for a very long time.
