Thank you for your response. I had a dexi in 2024 and overall at 2.9 My endocrin wants to treat. Putting it off. Joined a gym getting a personal trainer. Scared. I feel that I am at risk for MRONJ given that I( have exostosis and tori. Dentist says good oral hygiene is the key. Endocrin wants to place me on Forteo or Tymlos. Scared beyond belief. Told them I will revisit it next year. Will be active in the gym. Want to buy Fortibone. Live alone. What's going to happen to me should I have these side affects? Any advice?

@ipg I don't think we are suppose to really give advice. Visiting it again next year is reasonable I think, and redoing your bone density to ensure you are not getting more loss. I think either Tymos or Forteo is a great choice to rebuild bones.

@ipg Forteo and Tymlos are not issues for ONJ. If your T-score was -2.9 in 2024, it may be worse now. Fortibone is not the answer. I'd consider Tymlos because the pen is adjustable so that you can lower the dose. Even a year on Tymlos can get you better than -2.0.
