I was told the same by my gynecologist - her concern I'm
12 years post menopause (62) and she says the risk of stroke or heart attack are more concerned than the side effects of Prolia (what she wants me to take)

@lourdita15 it really depends on very good medical evaluation of the individual.

There have been some significant changes in thinking re: hormone replacement since the flawed women's health initiative study is being challenged. Not a doctor nor do I know your medical history. May I ask what your dexa scores are? It is so important to do our own research in order to advocate for our care. Women's health research has received a pittance compared to me s health research. Good luck and there is so much wisdom on this forum.
