I live in south Jordan, Utah. Elevation at my home is 5000 ft. I cannot walk very much even with my portable oxygen. The oxygen just isn’t here.
I went to Paris and only used a walker so I could stop periodically, and no oxygen. With Copd, even with extra oxygen we can’t make it far. My lungs are my issue. Going uphill is also impossible even with oxygen. With oxygen I can only take on half my stairs at a time. I have to stop and breathe for awhile before I continue.
