@hlthcr2000 oh thxs I looks forward to hearing -learning more- the other Dr wanted to do out patient and send me home & the surgery center refused. I am terrified they will want to do surgery in Hosp. & try to send me home same day or next day - I have no one to help me - and will need to have them keep me so ins will cover a skilled or rehab facility.. so I am wondering what your experience was
Also what is PRP?
Yes- I have also spent years of useless care & PT from multiple other ortho surgeons who misdiagnosed my multiple hip injuries/conditions.

@pamglutemedius PRP is platelet rich plasma. To my knowledge it is never covered by insurance and effectiveness is questionable. You should reach out to Dr. Lall and they can tell you what post op options they suggest. Yes, going home with no help would be a challenge after this procedure.
