@blm1007blm1007 I'm going to guess here - we use Sootheez lozenges to help with dry mouth and throat tickle. But for our "littles" we use their lollipops because it is too easy for kids to get lozenges stuck in their throats. When my cough was at its worst, I was scared to use lozenges for fear I would inhale and choke on one during a coughing fit - too bad I didn't know about the Sootheez lollis then.
These have pectin to moisturize and soothe the throat, but no cough suppressant and no Xylitol, which some cannot tolerate, and no other medication.
