What an amazing story! I read about each step of your treatment for appendix cancer and was so encouraged that you beat the odds! I also loved Audrey Hepburn and was sad that cancer took her life. I think it especially hits hard when we ourselves are diagnosed with the same disease and walk that grueling path that the people we admire took.

As someone who had Acute Myeloid Leukemia, I also heard about all the people like Raisa Gorbacheva who died from this disease. I am so grateful for all the advances in medicine in treating different cancers that were made in the last couple of decades! I wouldn’t be alive today without all the work our amazing medical teams are doing to try to cure our cancers!
