Lyrica side effects with spinal fusion and spondylitis

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with spinal fusion and spondylitis. My doctor prescribed Lyrica 25mg twice a day. However after three weeks I´m having bad side effects, dizziness, dry mouth, and bad headaches. I have no appetite and have to force food down and my back pain is still quite bad. I´m also very depressed. I have an appointment with my doctor to discuss in three days.

I use Lyrica and it makes those uncomfortable things, but it helps with nervepains somehow. I try to use L. as little as possible.

I have used Lyrica off and on for many years. Last year I took it for nerve pain and initially it was okay, but weeks later I went into a deep depression. So I came off of it. You never know how your body will accept it. Before I do anything, tell your Dr about it.

Your side effects are pretty typical it seems from the literature.

@morkat Is it possible to get withdrawal symptoms from Lyrica after just three weeks usage. I stopped taking it 2 days ago and have terrible nausea and sickness

I took Lyrica for three weeks before stopping due to bad side effects. I now have terrible nausea and sickness two days after I stopped. The doctor put me on Tramadol instead. I took two tablets and have also stopped those. Not sure whether its the coming off Lyrica or the Tramadol that is making me so ill.
