@djg3012 there is a recent study out of Brazil showing it didn’t help in a randomized placebo comparison that also included Fluvoxamine which did show some benefits. Seems like more helpful to prevent LC than treat from what I’ve seen in literature. Others may have different experiences though.

Metformin, prescribed off label for Long Covid, has helped me. What does it do? I don't know, but it increases my feeling of well-being. I started at 500 mg/day with food and am now on 500 mg bid with food, so I take a 500 mg tab with bkfst and another 500mg tab with lunch. The addition of the second 500 mg dose is because my A1C was creeping up.
