It does seem like things snowball after the initial diagnosis. While medication is often recommended as the first line, due to other issues it might be worth inquiring about cardiac ablation for the AFib. Generally an outpatient procedure and minimally invasive.

@rmoore901 Thank you for the suggestion. I haven't talked with my cardiologist about any other options. This diagnosis is less than a week old although I should have been diagnosed before now. My symptoms had not been interpreted correctly. They cannot find a monitor that will work with my 82 pound frame in order to get more information. But I will need to be talking to her about
ablation.
