@susanejw
I so…admire you!
I wish I could be like that. At 84yrs. old I look healthier than what I am and still like/want to do things I can no longer do. (sad).
Thank you for writing and expressing how you feel! Uby

@susanejw It's as if I am revisiting my youth, protesting the Vietnam War, watching the horror of Kent State right here in our own country, later the riots in Baltimore city and visiting the aftermath with my dad- protest songs, feeling my lack of power at such a young age. Anxiety now is 100 times greater. My kids are grown and struggling with their own everyday lives and my grandchildren have a very uncertain future. I feel that I am honestly and rightly terrified of where we're headed. Some of those folks I've met act like "this too shall pass" which I do not find helpful, so I am focusing my efforts on going to weekly protests, holding up a big sign while I sit in my chair with my cane beside me. I've got some real health issues, so it would be great if I could experience some positive change before I die, but at this point, it's hard to envision that happening.
