What sleep meds help you stay asleep?

@laurabamford4015 my cardiologist recommended trazodone but can’t prescribe it. My GP hasn’t gotten back to me about it.
What dose works for you?
Mirtazapine was just horrible!

Sleep is essential!
50 mg Trazadone—One usually works but if I’m too wound up to fall asleep I take two=100mg.
I was in so much pain after my surgery I had to take three and then there was no guarantee I’d fall asleep. Ambien is à sure-fire drug but I am susceptible to addiction so I can’t take any addictive drugs.

@lynnann50 trazodone was not good for me it never shit down my mind good luck
