@snowy1926 My doctor has offered exchanging my acrylic lens with a silicone lens to see if the rounded edges of the silicone lens will put an end to my negative dysphotopsia which I have been experiencing ever since I had cataract surgery in my right eye. It is an unbearable condition that I was told is “common” in my first postoperative appt after surgery when I walked into the doctors office crying because I had no idea what was going on and why I had this dark arc on the corner of my right eye. I am furious that there was no disclosure in my preop appt re: what I’ve been now told is a common side effect of cataract surgery. Are you in the ophthalmology profession?. If you could offer any more insight, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
