@asl1940 I started taking quviviq 4 months ago. Im a lifelong insomniac but wont take addictive sleeping meds because they also build up tolerance. Quviviq has transformed my life. I was nearly always able to get to sleep.....my problem was waking up during the night and not being able to fall back asleep. Since I retired a couple of years ago I stay in bed until 10 or even 11 in order to get 6 or msybe near 7 hours total after maybe 11 hours in bed. With Quviviq I am getting at least 7 up to more thsn 8 hours when I am in bed 8.5 or 9 hours. I have a new life. The only problem is just recently I am experiencing headaches and occasional daytime drowsiness but i hope this will pass. I am on the 50mg dose as research shows the 25mg doesn't really work. It definitely isn't addictive ....I forgot to take it on 2 occasions before I fell asleep and both times I was simply back to my original difficulty of wsking during the night and not being able to go back to sleep. I didn't take the Quviviq when I woke up to avoid being drowsy in the morning.
