Hello @andreaharrell, I agree with @vijay26 that the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) is a good place to start. It helped my wife and I learn how to work with our son when he was diagnosed with Schizophrenia as a teenager. He's now in his mid 50s and doing well on his medications and his diagnosis changed over the years as the mental health field has improved. NAMI has local chapters around the country where you can meet with other parents dealing with similar mental health conditions. The local support group helped us learn to be better listeners when talking to our son so that we could work with his doctors on better treatments. Have your child's doctor offered any suggestions or treatments?
