@dragonflylady After several years of fitfull sleep my doctor put me on Requip (roprineral) for restless leg syndrome. It worked and I continued on it for over ten years. THEN, I saw that a side effect was that Requip contributeed to dementia. I don't want any help in that department so I stopped taking it. I take magnesium and drink tonic water, about a cup or so, every day and have not had any serious RLS attacks. It is safe and worth a try. Good luck!

@suzianne I tried the tonic water and I have to say šŸ™ YUCK! Ha !
I just couldn’t acquire a taste for it. I haven’t tried Requip. After reading about it I’m glad I didn’t and glad you stopped it too. It’s bad enough that we suffer from these conditions and the drugs that are prescribed for us can cause more harm than good sometimes. Makes you wonder if the cure is worth the risk. I’m happy you found a natural solution and thank you for sharing it.
