P.S., The Dr. and PA suggested using a small hand towel and making a loop of it or horseshoe to tuck it under the scrotum and pull back gently while lying flat, or use pillows under the hips to help the swelling go down, several times a day. I also have an RX coming with a Viagra type drug to increase circulation to my genital area. I am still weighing the cost and benefit of the $150 vacuum pump that the RN showed me.

@drcopp Get the pump! The big benefit literally is that it helps undo penile shrinkage from the surgery. Unless, you had tons of inches to give up. $150 is a small price to pay. The bigger challenge is actually using the pump daily for the therapy routine they will outline. Seems like every center has a slightly different protocol, but the overall is usually the same. A typical protocol is to pump until you are mostly erect, hold that for a few minutes. Then, deflate and repeat five times.

@drcopp I got a pump from Amazon that works great and is about $30. Adorime is the brand. I think it’s helpful to use a pump.
