Hello @maka1104,

I'm really sorry to hear about your pain. What an interference with your daily activities. I'm wondering if you could share a little more about the pain. For example, is it all day? Are there times of the day when the pain is lessened? Are there any activities that make it worse or make it better? Is there any family history of this health issue?

Neurological problems can be very difficult to diagnose and treat. So, I would encourage you to persist and keep looking for answers. Persistence is the key to finding answers for hard-to-diagnose problems.

Finally, have you been to a research-oriented health care system for an evaluation? I'm thinking of a medical university health center or a hospital system like Mayo Clinic (appointment information for Minnesota, Arizona, and Florida can be found using this link: http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63).

The pain is 24/7. Everything that I do aggravates my pelvic region. Just socks and clothes touching my leg increases the pain. On April 1st (I know, stupid day to have it) I had another laminectomy to reduce the compression around L3, L4, and partial L2. So far I have not had any relief. Everything started 3 years ago. Somehow I contracted a staph infection and had to have a laminectomy on my spinal column in the T3 region to remove the abscess. The numbness started in my leg two days before the surgery and has just got steadily worse.
