@3dogs have you tried hamstring stretches right before bedtime and when you wake up? It helped me, I hope you'll try it if you haven't already. The key is to be consistent. Everything we try doesn't work immediately, but with repetitious consistency every day it may start to work. I'm sorry for your problem. I wish you well.

@pta No I have not, but my legs start bothering me in the late afternoon or evening and I have tried stretching then. Many years ago, it was only while sleeping, but now it starts early.
