@trooperdogg1960 I am going to be discussing THC use with my PM doc. Hopefully he will be experienced enough to set me on the right course.

@heisenberg34 THC is one of the active cabinoids in marijuana that causes a high. CBDin a balm is another that can relieve pain. I never heard of THC being ussed to relieve pain.

Chronic shoulder pain and loss of mobility do report that medical marijuana helps improve their quality of life, especially after exhausting treatments like physical therapy, cortisone injections, nerve procedures, opioid medications and topical therapies, because while cannabis usually does not “fix” the underlying joint damage it can sometimes reduce pain intensity, muscle tension, anxiety related to constant pain and sleep disruption enough to make daily life more manageable, although experiences vary greatly and at 88 years old it is especially important to start very cautiously with low-dose products often CBD-dominant or balanced THC/CBD formulations since side effects such as dizziness, sedation, confusion and balance problems can be more significant in older adults, but many chronic pain patients in situations similar to yours say that medical marijuana provided at least some additional comfort and improved function when other treatments had stopped helping enough.

@sheceegold Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you have found something that works. I have tried 4% lidocaine cream, Mama Bear Oasis, Capsaicin ointment, and a host of other creams. None work at all. My neuropathic pain is so severe that I don't think there are any such creams that will help me.

@heisenberg34 Tried many creams, also. Nothing relieved my pain until I tried Charlotte Webs’ CBD blam. It helps me in minutes of applying.

@heisenberg34 have you tried vlassic cbd? outback for arthtis? classic icyhot or biofreeze? have you tried to get 5% patches perscribed by your doctor?

Thanks to all of you who chimed in regarding my need for some kind of cream that might help my burning feet/ankles. I would like to know what your pain levels are. My pain sits at a solid 8 every day, sometimes heading to a nine. I have tried just about every type of cram/ointment out there, diclofenac Na, 4% lidocaine. magnesium cream, Mama Bear, etc. None do any thing. Still searching.

Pinched nerves can be relieved by releasing the tight muscles that can be helped by a Somatic trainer or educator. Check out Somatics on the Web and Lawrence Gold.
