@nicolemosley333 please don’t give up. I had enough reasons to be depressed (childhood abuse, domestic violence) and started having intermittent pain before the fibromyalgia hit me full blown. I became more depressed and my job was difficult due to brain fog/difficulty with even thinking, getting to work physically was so hard. Diagnosed with major depression. I went to see a social security/labor attorney on the advice of my doctor. I really struggled, didn’t want to try. My doctor really pushed for me to do it. Attorneys advice you will most likely win a disability case based on depression then fibromyalgia. He was right. We won. Best thing I could have done with this illness. Unfortunately even our “justice system “ doesn’t believe in fibromyalgia. However that was 10 years ago so maybe it’s better now or your State/county may have a different outlook on Fibromyalgia. You may even have a case against your employer. The attorney did not charge anything unless he won the case. Then he got a percentage of the settlement which was well worth it. I just paid for copies of some paperwork. Have you applied/ received any disability so far? There’s certain steps that help your case. Just giving example of possible ways to get help. I’m so sorry you’re employer is not sympathetic. It hurts even to hear about it.
