I started 5 mg of Camzyos on May 1st. Having SOB almost daily. Fatigue levels are really bad. Feel like I’ve been hit by a truck when I wake up in the mornings, and it’s very difficult to get out of bed but my 2 dachshunds are so demanding so I have to get up. If I didn’t have to take care of them, I’d probably be in bed 12 hours or more. My walking is unsteady most of the time. I have a video conference with Pharmacotherapy Cardiology to discuss the medication tomorrow afternoon. I’m ready to stop this medication right now.

@dconner ask your doctor about taking electrolyte drink daily! It made a major difference in my fatigue level! Instant IV is the brand recommended to me. I dilute mine x2.

@dconner Good morning, hope your appt went well. I have learned that with each appt, the docs are reacting to my symptoms, test results, feelings, etc. and twekaing along the way. I started on Camzyos 5 mg in Oct. Felt super for two weeks then I felt like I had the flu every day.
I went to work but tried to avoid people and just do my work. I feel like I lost Nov & Dec; wanted to hide from holiday gatherings. Based on improved gradient doc lowered dose to 2.5 in Dec. Continued to feel badly (edgy, tired, SOB, rapid heart rate) until the end of April.
Feeling pretty well right now although recent blood work showed that I am taking way too much thyroid hormone and it causes tends to trigger hair loss, rapid heart rate, edginess, etc. Doc has tapered the thyroid dosage so now I am adjusting to the lowered dose and feel hopeful. My point is...it is a journey and the docs will continue to explore and tweak along the way. Try to persevere, be patient and take one day at a time (sometimes I just want to get through the next hour!) You can do this...hugs and blessings... 🙂
