Possible neuropathy??

I think it's neuropathy but not diagnosed. Bottoms of feet are rather numb like I'm wearing sox when I'm not. I have terrible balance issues, constantly thinking I'm going to fall down. Exercise creates achy lower legs. I have weakness in legs. This has been going on for 3 years, seen two neurologists and one vein doctor plus ultrasound in legs. Nothing found to date.
I need help.

Welcome @gracemh, Sorry you've been struggling for three years to get some answers and a diagnosis. You mentioned that you've seen two neurologists and one vein doctor which certainly seems like the specialists that should be able to help determine what is causing the symptoms. Neuropathy Commons has a good list of testing used to diagnosis peripheral neuropathy - https://neuropathycommons.org/index.php/diagnosis/diagnosing-peripheral-neuropathy. You mentioned weakness in the legs along with the bottoms of your feet being numb. Do you also have pain in your feet or legs? Have you had any nerve conduction tests or skin punch biopsy to check for damaged nerves?

Hello John, thanks for your concern. Yes, pain in lower legs. I had an electromyography test that didn't show anything. No skin punch, ouch!
All is well when I sit down with feet up, feel like I could run a marathon. Then when standing up I'm very off balance and pain when walking.
