Precancerous cells in the vaginal cuff after a hysterectomy

I had cancer of the vaginal cuff 9 years after my hysterectomy for uterus cancer.
The treatment was radiation and 5 treatments of brachytherapy. What are they doing about the precancerous cells?

Thank you for your response! I really appreciated it although I am sorry about your subsequent cancer. I will be having some kind of treatment soon to “ burn “ away these cancerous cells . I have read of the possibility of cancer down the road - which I dread. I can not get rid of the HPV 16 which is the culprit for all my problems! I did not realize that pre-cancerous cells can occur from the hysterectomy for cervical cancer in October 2025.

What is your current situation? I hope and pray it’s a good prognosis now!
